Payment and Fees
Staten Island Letters accepts Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) for speech, language, and feeding therapy services. While they assist parents in determining if their health insurance offers out-of-network (OON) benefits, Staten Island Letters does not accept insurance nor handle insurance claims directly. Upfront payment to the therapist is required every week. The professionals we work with will provide a monthly invoice for parents to submit to their insurance for potential reimbursement. Staten Island Letters offers speech, language, feeding therapy, and tutoring services with rates averaging between $100 to $190 per session, depending on location, session length, and service type. Prices include travel time, but you only pay for the instructional time.

Free Intake Process
Initial Contact and Consultation: Contact us via email, text, or phone, and we will respond immediately, seven days a week. We will schedule a phone call with you within one business day. Review: We examine previous reports, evaluations, and report cards to understand the client’s background and family’s needs comprehensively.
Initial and Customized Assessments: Clients may opt for a comprehensive educational literacy and math assessment to pinpoint strengths and areas for improvement, helping to tailor sessions for optimal results. The licensed speech-language pathologists we work with offer comprehensive evaluations for all ages.
Choosing the Right Fit: We work closely with clients to understand their needs and filter through our selective list of professionals. We provide detailed profiles of these carefully chosen candidates to help clients make an informed choice for themselves or their children. All of the professionals we work with offer free remote meet-and-greets!
Over 95% of the educators and speech-language pathologists we work with are full-time educators or speech-language pathologists specializing in delays, learning differences, and neurodivergent populations. With over 20 years of experience in New York City, he leads the professionals providing services through Manhattan Letters, Queens Letters, Staten Island Letters, and Long Island Letters. Trained in Communicative Disorders, Craig specializes in childhood development and language-based learning issues, leveraging his extensive experience in both school and home settings. His approach, characterized by flexibility and adaptability, fosters long-term relationships with clients across a wide range of ages and developmental profiles.
Brooklyn Letters, under Craig’s leadership, has grown into a respected provider of speech-language therapy and multisensory literacy and math private practices in the NYC area. Craig’s expertise is widely recognized, leading him to speak at various conferences and events, including the Everyone Reading Conference and institutions like Mount Sinai and NYU Langdon.
